The anti-manifesto: a zine
A siren call to explore every crevice of your curiosity, to create things knowing that nothing is permanent
Hello lovelies,
I’ve made a zine that is a siren call to explore every crevice of your curiosity, to create things knowing that nothing is permanent. In a world where you have to define yourself in an elevator pitch or 160 characters, this zine is about having fun without boundaries.
Here’s the text from the first couple of pages:
Be known for nothing
It gives you freedom
Explore every crevice of your curiosity. Don’t do one thing well
Play with your life as if you were a magpie
Do not be afraid to be forgotten, be passionate about many things
Create things with no aim to share with others or be seen as an expert
In this world, beyond the boundaries of humanity, there is no definition of failure or flourish
Be the person that is hard to describe in one sentence
Be the person of all trades, the one who makes things for friends for the love of it
Be the person that is radical
If you’re so called - check it out and order one. Like many zines, it’s priced for affordability and accessibility. Money made goes to Room to Read for girls education across Asia and Africa.
A little oops
Here’s the thing - I wrote a really killer essay about instilling silence into the day to day but I messed up and didn’t check the little box that would send it to your inbox. How human of me! So here’s me saying, check it out, cause months of work went into it:
Explore your weird, beautiful, wild self and all of your interests,
